The books of First and Second Timothy, and Titus, since the eighteenth century have been collectively referred to as the 'Pastoral Epistles.' Written by Paul to address the situation of the life of the church and pastoral ministry at that time. These three letters are not only written to Timothy or Titus but also to all believers, including those of us today, so that we may know 'how one ought to behave in the household of God' (1 Timothy 3:15). The situation in some churches today is full of chaos, as if we have returned to the temple during the time of Jesus, which was no longer a house of prayer for all nations but had become a den of robbers (Matthew 21:13; Mark 11:17). We should have the heart of Jesus, considering 'My Father’s house' (Luke 2:49), and by the grace of the Lord, emulate Jesus, who was 'consumed with zeal for my Father’s house' (John 2:17)! The Pastoral Epistles precisely teach us how to live and serve in our Father’s house (the church), so we should study them carefully and abide by their teachings. This book is concise and comprehensive, starting with an introduction. Then the content is divided into seventy-five lessons, organized by sections and examined verse-by-verse, with each lesson including discussion questions. The aim is to help believers carefully study the essence of the Pastoral Epistles, and is suitable for individual daily study and meditation, family devotional sharing, fellowship group Bible studies, and Sunday school courses. 教牧書信是提摩太前書、後書、提多書，是使徒保羅所寫的最後三卷書信。他面對當時教會的處境，寫信給提摩太與提多。此三卷書的內容是論到教會生活與教牧事奉，因而自十八世紀起被合稱為「教牧書信Pastoral Epistles」。 這三封書信不只是寫給提摩太或提多，也是寫給所有信徒，包括今日的你我，使我們知道「在天父的家中，當怎樣行」（提前3：15）。 今日有些教會的光 景，亂象叢生，彷彿是回到主耶穌當時的聖殿時代，已不再是萬民禱告的殿，甚至變成了賊窩（太21：13；可11：17）。我們當以主耶穌的心為心，應當以我父的殿 （家）為念（路2：49），讓我們靠主恩典效法主耶穌「為我父的殿，心裏焦急如同火燒」（約2：17）！我們當如何悔改歸正，避免我們在神的家中任意妄為？此教牧書信正是教導我們在天父的家（教會）裏當如何生活與事奉，所以我們應當仔細研讀並謹守遵行。 本書言簡意賅，以導論起始，內容分為七十五課，按題分段、逐節查考，每課皆有問題討論。旨在幫助信徒仔細研讀《教牧書信》精義，適合個人每日研讀默想、家庭靈修分享、團契小組查經、主日學課程。
